An Öner Bilişim AŞ employee fulfills the requirements of his/her profession; Basic Principles

i. Protects the safety, health and well-being of the community and individuals.

ii. Is fair, honest and trustworthy and treats all people equally without any discrimination.

iii. Respect people's privacy, dignity and property rights.

General Professional Obligations

Acts in line with the highest moral values and assumes responsibility in all kinds of behavior, work and relationships related to the profession.
Learns, follows and complies with the laws, rules and standards related to the profession.

ii. Shares his/her professional knowledge, skills and experience without harming personal and corporate interests.

iii. It pays attention to the confidentiality and protection of private information on individuals and institutions.

iv. Complies with the obligations and agreements to which it is bound.

v. Be realistic and unbiased in his/her predictions and determinations based on the data under his/her control.

vi. Informs the relevant parties about their interests within the framework of the work for which he/she is responsible, and does not act in favor of one of the parties in conflicts of interest, if any.

vii. It does not cooperate with persons and institutions suspected of being involved in corruption and dishonest dealings.

viii. Refuses any commission, share, premium offers and any financial assistance that may come from persons or organizations related to the work he/she is responsible for, without the employer's knowledge.

ix. Fully and accurately declares his/her professional qualifications to be taken as a basis for determining his/her remuneration.

Individual Obligations

Maintains and develops technical competence and voluntarily engages only in areas where he/she has sufficient training, knowledge and experience. Open to professional criticism.

As a result of these criticisms, he tries to correct his shortcomings.

ii. Admit mistakes and do not try to cover them up.

iii. Contributes to the enlightenment of the society about information technology applications and their consequences and to the formation of the necessary awareness in the society.

Product and Service Related Obligations

It works to achieve the highest quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the product and production process.

ii. Acts constructively and objectively in reviews, audits and tests conducted during the product development and production process.

Obligations Related to Colleagues and Coworkers

Assists colleagues and coworkers in their professional development and encourages and supports them to comply with the Principles of Professional Ethics.

Remains indifferent to the opinions, concerns and complaints of colleagues and coworkers.

ii. In order to advance in professional life, he/she never harms his/her colleagues by criticizing and accusing them for untrue reasons.

iii. Shows due respect, importance and attention to the products and intellectual works of his/her colleagues as a result of their work and efforts.

iv. does not review, use or improve the work of colleagues for personal gain without permission. If he/she uses it in any way, he/she must cite the source.

v. Respect all academic and professional works and products, even if they have not yet received a patent or legal right to copy them.

vi. Provides accurate information when asked for information about colleagues and does not disclose private information that is not work-related.

Obligations Related to Management

While performing managerial duties, ensures that all resources of the organization, especially information and communication resources, are used effectively, efficiently and only by authorized persons.

He/she does not discriminate among the employees he/she manages, and is fair, honest and reliable towards them.

ii. Ensures that the flow of information under his/her management is realized in a timely and accurate manner.

iii. Contributes to the fulfillment of social and moral responsibilities of the personnel under his/her management and encourages them in this regard.

iv. Contributes to the professional development of the employees under his/her management, directs and encourages them in this regard.

v. Acts fairly and honestly with regard to the contributions, inventions and rights arising from them made by the employees under his/her management.

vi. Does not pursue any personal interest when offering a job to the employee to be hired, and explains the working conditions to him/her in full detail and accurately.

vii. Does not recruit from a rival organization in violation of the moral principles of working life.

viii. He/she considers his/her professional life as separate from his/her private life as much as possible and takes care not to deviate from the principle of professionalism when making decisions.

Obligations Related to Employers and Customers

He/she is always reliable and honest in his/her professional relations with his/her employer and customers.

He/she does not try to gain an unfair advantage or superiority by using his/her political environment, intimacy and personal relations and financial power while receiving work and fulfilling his/her obligations.

ii. Does not take part in a second workplace or project without the knowledge and permission of his/her own employer.

iii. Not use the resources and facilities of his/her employer for his/her personal business or the business of another group without the approval of the employer.

Responsibilities related to these Principles

It embraces these “Ethical Principles of the Informatics Profession” and strives for their widespread use.

It takes necessary initiatives against individuals and institutions that violate or ignore these principles.
